Messages

This section is in sequence to answered prayer.  I had been asking the Lord what outlet He wanted me to use to make public the many letters, messages and revelation He has been sharing with me over the years.

I pray that whosoever reads these words of the Lord will be encouraged, enlightened and enticed to prayerfully seek Him more, as I am.

In His Service

The King Is Coming

“Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation”          (II Cor. 5:18-19)

I have just had an epiphany after watching a recent Dane Wigington video on Geoengineering and how our government is waging weather warfare and chemical warfare on Americans.  I knew about the chemtrails, but I didn’t know they were manipulating weather conditions and causing such disastrous results, not just here, but around the world.  What I realize now, having studied end-time prophecies in the Bible, scientists, ex-CIA whistle-blowers, and the like; are just confirming what God has laid out as our destiny; and the only hope and answer is found in Jesus Christ.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my Words shall not pass away.” (Matt. 24:35)  The Apostle John wrote the following after an extensive vision from Christ, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” (Rev. 21:1)

Things are wrapping up here very soon in this world.  I encourage you to seek the true and living God through Jesus, his Son NOW!  Set aside just one day and ask Him to reveal Himself to you in a way you will understand.  It is a ‘visceral’ thing; that is to say, ‘beyond human reasoning’, yet simple.  FAITH in someone and something you can’t see or touch.  Jesus told his doubting disciple, “Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: but blessed are they that have NOT seen, and yet believe.” (John 20:29)

Check out the short video I have included a link for, on this toddler that has had an encounter with Jesus.  She keeps saying that he is coming soon.  We will be going up to meet him if we are his children and know him.  King Jesus is coming soon.  God just spoke to one of my congregants recently and told him to tell everyone the same thing.  He has also told me that in the past many times.  I’m hearing it more and more.  It truly is all we have to look forward to and it is for all eternity after this life.

I can’t apologize for this being my focal point.  My heart aches for people who don’t understand that Jesus truly is the only way, the truth, and the life…and no one can be reconciled to our Father God, Master, and Creator, unless they go through Jesus.  He is the middle man so to speak; AND our mediator.  The blood he shed on the cross atoned for all of humanity’s sins so that we have an opportunity to accept his free gift of eternal life, and be born again (spiritually) into His family.

I LOVE YOU MY FRIENDS!  And I don’t want you or anyone else saying you never heard the gospel and didn’t know this was available to you.  We can repent, and God will forgive.  This is a supernatural act only God can perform in your spirit.  We are spirit, soul, and body.  Once our spirit is re-born and made alive in Christ, our soul and body can follow suit and is no longer a slave to the sin nature we are born with.  It is a process that never ends until we die, or are taken up to be with Him where we will receive new, glorified bodies, GLORY hallelujah!

Jesus wants YOU to know Him!

It Is A Choice

Proverbs 1:29 “For they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord.”

I found this passage and have received it in my heart with fear and trembling. In brief, I have been desperately asking the Lord certain questions for YEARS, only to have the answer boil down to one word: “CHOICE”!

What were some of those questions? How can professing Christians, believers in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Messiah; continue to enjoy their bad habits and live a life of sin? Why do they insist on retaining their bondage when we know Jesus, Yeshua, THE ANOINTED ONE, died to set us free? The act of resisting, or not yielding to the love of God, actually tightens the grip the enemy has on us!

Why? We hear the word preached. We hear testimonies of many who have experienced the POWER of the shed blood of Jesus on the cross. We SEE those who have encountered the liberating freedom of the Word of God, being transformed as they renew their minds with it and by it.

We also know the battle rages between our saved and regenerated spirit man and our soul and body. BUT, the Spirit of God quietly spoke to my heart a few days ago and said, “It is a choice!” The scripture says, “They hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord. Verse 30 goes on to say, “They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.” In other words, humanity did not accept or heed God’s word or counsel in the past, and they are not doing a very good job of it in the present.

We all must CHOOSE, every moment of every day; what we will say and do. Joshua 24:15 demands of us to “…choose you this day whom ye will serve.” Solomon commanded us to “Fear God and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” Eccl. 12:13

We must CHOOSE what is honest, true, just, pure, lovely and of a good report! Philippians 4:8

We must choose to love the unlovable, with God’s love. It is the only way we can do it! We must CHOOSE to develop and live by the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22

We must choose to love God because He first loved us! Jesus came and died so that our broken hearts would be healed, and we would be delivered from the evil one! Won’t you yield yourselves to the Holy One; the God of Israel; the Great I Am? His Spirit is calling you if you are reading this right now. I encourage you to ACCEPT the choices God has made for you, and let us finish the race victorious! In Christ Jesus, we cannot fail!

Simple Obedience

John 7:16-17 “My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.  If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”

I thought the Holy Spirit wanted me to read all of John 7 this morning, but I got stuck on these two passages.  What a gloriously simple revelation!  With child-like faith, we obey God BEFORE we have understanding of everything we think we need.  He is telling us, THEN we will know whether all these false religions and doctrines of devils are of God or not.  THEN we will know what decisions to make in the day.  THEN we will know what we need to know as life unfolds moment by moment.  OBEY GOD, whether we understand it or not.

Psalm 111:10 says it beautifully also, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that DO is comandments: his praise endures forever.”

Samuel was trained up from a little child, obeying God and fearing, or reverencing God; by serving in the temple before he became one of the greatest prophets ever.  Abraham obeyed God when he told him to leave all his kin folks and travel to an undisclosed location.  The list goes on and on; but the point is, obedience leads to greater intimacy with God, which in turn leads to greater discernment of what is going on around us.  Why?  It is because the scriptures tell us so.  Our greatest example of all is Christ Jesus, Yeshua, The Messiah.

Hebrews 2:9-10  “But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.  For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.”

OUR LORD WAS OBEDIENT UNTO DEATH, knowing it would offer humanity salvation to all who believe!

What will our obedience profit us if we are of the same mind?  Think of all the souls we can touch and potentially sweep into the Kingdom of God!  We gain intimacy with God, knowledge, wisdom, and understanding through it.  How pleased Elohim, our Great God, would be with us.

Holy Abba Father:  I pray we would honor You, reverence You, and have a pure desire to know You and obey You; for this is Your will for us.  May we separate ourselves from the snares of this world and exchange chaos, confusion, and false ideals with peace, soundness of mind and truth; which only comes by knowing YOU!  Father, may your people be salt and light in a lost and dying world; pointing them to the only One who can save and redeem them from eternal condemnation.  Jesus, Yeshua…the Way, the Truth, and the Life!  No one can get to You except to believe and confess Yeshua’s death on that cruel stake, His burial, and His glorious resurrection; in the all-powerful and holy name of Jesus I pray, amen!

Carnality

Romans 8:6-7 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.

Our fellowship is beginning a study by Andrew Wommack titled “Spirit, Soul & Body”. It has already impacted our perception of who we are IN Christ Jesus, and the relationship between the three entities determining our ultimate destiny.

The Lord gave me the word “carnality” to piggy-back our study. Understanding a Christian’s carnality reveals the amount of control our spirit-man has over our soul and body, or flesh. Carnality is characterized by the flesh or body, its passions and appetites; its sensuality and carnal pleasures, and is worldly and temporary.

Oswald Chambers states, “The natural man, or unbeliever, knows nothing about carnality. The desires of the flesh warring against the Spirit, and the Spirit warring against the flesh, WHICH BEGAN AT REBIRTH, are what produce carnality and the awareness of it.” THAT fact I did not know until this research revealed it! Paul was in fact speaking to Christians, but it didn’t occur to me that it was unique to them.

Billy Graham said, “Carnal Christians continually grieve the Holy Spirit by their temper, touchiness, irritability, prayer-lessness and/or love of self (the lower side of their being dominates).”

Question: What do we do about it?

Answer: The Apostle Paul tells us in Galatians 5:16“This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh.”

If you will read on in Galatians 5:16-26, Paul gives us examples of carnality, and then follows it up with fruit of the Spirit.

It is also interesting to note that the first mention of carnality in scripture is found in Genesis 3:6 when Eve was seduced by the serpent:  “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Eve saw the tree was good for food, it was pleasant to her eyes, and the desire to become wise was stirred up in her. The lust of our eyes, lust of our flesh, and the pride of life will get us every time!

Paul told the Corinthians in 1 Cor. 3 that their carnal minds were hindering their growth spiritually. He couldn’t teach them the deeper things of God he desired to because they were so immature. And so it is with us when we refuse to “Study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that need not be ashamed; rightly dividing the word of truth” (2 Tim 2:15).

I believe in these last days, God needs His church to grow up! Things are getting serious in the world, and Jesus is coming soon! It is time to put away childish things, and seek the deep things of God. May we all repent for our complacency and march on!

Salvation: Life’s Most Dire Necessity

John 14:6 “Jesus said to Thomas the Disciple: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

I have title this post as such, in an effort to draw attention to the desperate state the world is in. Our ministry is focused on the Great Commission, through the giving of food, clothes, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. So just HOW is the ministry of Jesus accomplished? Only by LOVE! It was, and still is, God’s love that enables us to be forgiven and reconciled (John 3:16).

Food and clothing are “necessities”, as elaborated on in another post titled, “Operation Genesis”; but now more than ever, God’s people need to give the world the hope of the gospel. Jesus preached repentance for the forgiveness of our sins. When it is all said and done, or put this way; at the end of the day, THAT is our only hope for eternal life with Them in Heaven. The Holy Spirit said through me last week in a Facebook post, “Let’s cut to the chase and get it done church! It is time for us to serve, not BE served!”

Question: What is the vehicle by which the above command is carried out? I purpose to use the word ‘command’ because that is what the Great Commission is. Answer: God’s LOVE! It is to be shed abroad in our hearts and evident in our lives. Read 1 John 3:11-24 as a foundational passage for the rest of this post.

1 Corinthian’s 13 is a good description what love LOOKS like: It suffers long, is kind; it does not envy, is not arrogant, rude, selfish, or easily provoked; it does not keep score of offenses. Love rejoices in truth, not lies. Love bears, believes, hopes, and endures ALL things. Love never fails. True, sacrificial love also causes one to take action, and back up its spoken intent. Love motivates, propels, and compels one to obey God; the One who IS love!

Richard Wurmbrand, a survivor of 14 years of torture at the hands of communists in Romania for preaching the gospel, eloquently stated it like this: “A man really believes not what he recites in his creed, but only the things he is willing to die for.”

Another facet of God’s love is OBEDIENCE. 2 John 6 says, “And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.” The great prophet Samuel said, “…to obey is better than sacrifice.” (1 Samuel 15:22) Luke’s gospel quotes Jesus saying, “And why calls me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” And the Apostle John quoted Jesus stating, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”

One of the great benefits of obeying our Messiah’s commandments is the blessed assurance of knowing His Spirit ABIDE’S and remains in us. There is no question of our own salvation if we are doers, and not hearers only, hallelujah! The proof is our fruit!

So…if we love God, and desire to practice obedience and righteousness, then going out and preaching repentance and remission of sins in the name of Jesus, to every creature, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; should be a natural desire and response. (Luke 24:47, Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15)

I challenge you to meditate on what the above passages are saying; what they mean to you, about God’s character, and how you will apply them in your life. Romans 12:2 says, “Be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.”

My prayer for all of us comes from 1 Thessalonians 3:12-13, paraphrased: May the Lord make you to increase and abound in love, one toward another, and toward all men; so that he may establish your hearts unblamable in holiness before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all his saints.”

Sowing Of Blood – Reaping Of Souls

Galations 6:7-8 “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for ‘whatsoever’ a man soweth, that shall he also reap.  (So that can be anything) For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.”   I also like what Hosea says in chapter 10 verse 12:

“Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.”

This is a different spin on the typical sowing and reaping message…generally you hear these terms in connection with money.

It is my prayer that the Holy Spirit will break up some fallow ground in the hearts of people today, all around the world, with the Word of God.  May it be preached, that we have opportunity to sow ourselves into right standing with God, otherwise, how shall we reap mercy from Him?

What does Hosea mean in this passage?  For today, the Spirit of the Lord has given me the following message:

If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior, your heart is the hard, fallow (or untilled and unplanted ground).  If you know Him, but may not be following Him like you should, both groups must permit the Holy Spirit of God to touch and convict us; in order that we may repent of our sinful nature, and turn to God; accepting the death, burial, and resurrection of His Son, Jesus Christ; and obey His commandments.  When we purpose to believe this gospel with all our heart, commit to follow Jesus Christ, and confess him as Lord; our dead spirit is regenerated and begins to live IN CHRIST!  It is called, being ‘born again.’

This is also called redemption.  The Holy Spirit gave me the following definition regarding the redemption of humanity…“It is the resulting harvest of the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross.  The blood is the SEED God sowed, to reap the souls of his creation, reconciling us back to Himself.”  This IS the sowing of blood and reaping of souls principle.

John the Baptist exclaimed, “Behold, the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”  He was God and he was man.  He was without sin; yet became sin for us so we would not have to pay the penalty of it; because the Bible says, the wages of sin is death.  And that would be our fate, eternal death; meaning total separation from God, and eternal torment in hell; if Jesus had not come to fulfill Bible prophecy.

Hosea also says it is time to SEEK the Lord!  The Bible says when we seek; we shall find.  Today is the day of salvation.  No man is promised tomorrow.  Seek the Lord while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near!  Then He WILL come and rain righteousness upon you…HIS righteousness!  No one person is good enough.  The Bible says, without Christ we can do nothing and our righteousness is as filthy rags!  The sowing of Jesus’ blood is the ONLY…and LAST, blood sacrifice that satisfied the demands of God’s holiness.

1 Peter chapter 1 says Christ’s blood was as of a lamb without blemish and without spot; the INCORRUPTIBLE seed!  Verse 23 states:  Being born again, not of corruptible or perishable seed, but of incorruptible, BY THE WORD OF GOD which lives and abides forever.  Who is the Word of God?  Jesus Christ, the Word made flesh!

John 1:1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS God.”

Do you know Jesus today?  Do you know his bloodied body was the seed God sowed into the earth when he was buried; so that you could receive him in the fallow ground of your heart and be redeemed and restored, with righteousness rained upon you today?  No matter what our condition is, we can all PERMIT the Holy Spirit to touch every area of our lives, so that we don’t have to stay in the same condition we started in.  Hallelujah!

Prayer For Metabolism

The following prayer was designed for metabolism healing, inspired by the Holy Spirit back in July, 2009. I just happened upon it today, and as I kept looking at it, I felt compelled to post it. It has truly been a healing prayer, anointed by God for those who believe the Word of God and the precious blood of Jesus, shed on the cross (Psalm 103:1-6).

‘We speak to the collection of chemical reactions that takes place in _______’s (name of person) body cells. We command his/her metabolism to convert the fuel in the food he/she eats into the energy needed to power everything he/she does, including moving, thinking and growing, in the name of Jesus. We command the specific proteins in the body to function properly so that they control the chemical reactions of the metabolism to coordinate with other body functions according to the Word of God.

We declare that everything _______eats will convert into the energy necessary for his/her body to live a healthy life. During the metabolizing process, the energy will be properly stored in the body’s tissue, liver, muscles and fat cells. Waste products will be thoroughly released through the skin, kidneys, lungs and intestines. The body will build up and break down exactly what it needs the way God intended it to from the creation of life itself.

We speak wholeness to the thyroid right now, in the name of Jesus. It will produce AND release its hormone at exactly the proper speed for the chemical reactions of metabolism to proceed in his/her body.

We also speak to the pancreas and command it to be whole, in the name of Jesus. It will give off the proper hormones that determine how the body will break down the foods taken in to the body and send the proper signals to every cell.

God, we thank you in advance for wisdom to know what fuel to put in our bodies so it works in harmony with your creative design. We thank you for your Word that you sent to heal us. Holy Spirit, speak to us, as we go about our daily activities, and help us to be more sensitive to your still voice so that we are in your perfect will. God, we know you get all the glory when we bear much fruit; so we praise you right now that as this prayer has been declared in the spiritual realm, it shall be done, because my brother/sister and I are exercising the power of agreement, according to your Word. In Jesus mighty name we pray…Amen!

Jesus Is Coming Soon

JESUS IS COMING SOON…DO YOU KNOW HIM?

Do you know that God loves you so much he gave his only Son; so that if you believe in him, you will not perish, but will spend eternity with him in heaven? (John 3:16; 1 John 5:13)

Do you know he forgave you and healed your diseases? (Psalm 103:3)

Do you know his Spirit can dwell in you? (1 Corinthians 3:16)

Do you know his voice? (John 10:4)

Do you know his will for your life? (Acts 22:14; Ephesians 1:17-19)

Do you know him as friend? (James 2:23)

What we don’t know is the day or the hour in which he will come! (Mark 13:32)

If you want to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior, and would like to be made alive to ALL his promises in the Word of God, say the following prayer and believe the words with all your heart. You WILL be born again! (Romans 10:9)

Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me of all my sins. I ask you to cleanse my heart, and make me a new person in you right now. I believe that you are the Son of God and that you died on the cross for me and all of humanity.

Jesus, I want to thank you for loving me enough to die for me. I accept all that your shed blood bought for me on the cross, and I receive you as my Lord and Savior today. In your name I pray, Amen.

If you have just prayed that prayer, welcome to God’s family! In the New Testament, II Corinthians 5:17 says, “…old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In God’s eyes, you have a clean slate, and his Spirit will give you the desire to obey him and the power to do what pleases him. (Philippians 2:13)

My prayer is that I will celebrate eternity with you in heavenly places; with Jesus, our wonderful Lord!

The Great Commandment

In Matthew 22:37-40, Jesus said to the lawyer who was tempting him regarding which of the commandments of the law was the greatest, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”

The following excerpt is from my Facebook page January 18, 2016:

I want to thank everyone for their prayers during our outreach on Saturday. It was a BLESSED time in the Lord! We had a beautiful testimony come forth from a brother and his wife that were touched last month; the coldest day to date for these events. They needed food, warm clothes and prayer for jobs. We were able to provide the food and warm clothes on spot; GOD answered the prayer in less than a month. They are both working now, and he has offered his carpentry skills… to those in need, free of charge! PRAISE THE LORD!!! He is so worthy! Uplifting the kingdom of God is what this is about.

Another brother received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. In his own words…”Now I know this is real!” Hallelujah!

Souls Are On The Brink

Psalm 80:17-19 “Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou made strong for thyself. So will not we go back from thee: quicken us, and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.”

I bring the following Word of the Lord with much fear and trembling. He has a great desire that none should perish, we know that. He also goes to great lengths in His patience and longsuffering toward us to see that we have many opportunities to turn to Him, or turn BACK to Him. If you are a truly converted follower of Christ, this should weigh heavily in your spirit as a matter of prayer. If you are back-slid, or have not truly made Jesus the Lord of your life, I plead with you to consider your spiritual condition and commit yourself to our Lord and Savior with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.

On September 29, 2015, the Holy Spirit instructed me to call a prayer meeting for Thursday, October 1st. On Wednesday afternoon, He told me to fast for 24 hours. At this point, I knew something big was coming. God’s burden was weighing heavily upon me all through the next day. When we gathered and began to pray, He said the following:

“Souls are on the brink. Many are going to be taken very soon, without warning. PRAY…that the seeds in their hearts, which are already planted and watered, will sprout; leading them to repentance before it is too late.”

I believe God is speaking to unbelievers and professing Christians alike. We see compromise, lack of commitment, and complacency in the Body of Christ; however, I must emphasize this: Millions of people have heard the Gospel and rejected it, or are putting it off till a more convenient time. Note the phrase God used, “already planted and watered”. These people have not only heard the Gospel, the Holy Spirit has done His ministry work in their lives by fertilizing and watering the Word of God in their hearts. Plainly stated, they have purposed to ignore it!

PRAY SAINTS OF GOD! We see the craziness of this world increasing without boundaries; whether it is by the hands of people or the judgment of God through the elements and nature. (See Psalm 78:42-50) The Lord said to me not long ago, “We are as in the days of Noah.” That is not a good thing.

PRAY the featured Psalm above, so that He “quickens” those who are lingering in the valley of decision and are about to be taken.

PRAY the church will not be found lukewarm, but passionately HOT for Christ’s Passion, in Jesus’ name.

I know we all have our crosses to carry, and at times the fiery trials seem unbearable, but…

PRAY as Jesus prayed in Matthew 26:39, “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.”

SOULS ARE ON THE BRINK!

Fear Or Faith

II Timothy 1:7 “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

The Lord has given me so much “blog material” these past two weeks; I had to wait for the Holy Spirit’s inspiration to begin writing. Have you noticed when you first wake up in the wee hours of the morning, whether you feel like getting up at that moment or not, THAT’S when you can hear His still small voice the best? For me, that is usually between 3-5:00 a.m.

This morning, the above scripture was foremost in my mind, and thoughts regarding the Body of Christ, heavy on my heart. Fear can be experienced by all of us at any given time, as we journey through this life on earth striving to be true disciples of Jesus Christ. We say and do things out of fear of the unknown.

For example, believers used to having a good deal of money at their disposal, panic when they DON’T have what they are accustomed to; thereby resorting to their old, worldly ways of generating income. That rocks the very foundation of the “sound minds” Christ gave us on the cross. James 1:8 states, “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.” The three letter word “all” pulls a big punch! We must guard against double mindedness at all cost. I know from personal experience, and by those closest to me, that God allows these circumstances to arise so we will depend on Him exclusively. I have found, when I go through these trials of testing successfully, the reward is great! I praise God for His sufficient grace.

For others, the fear factor may be in relationships. One may fall out of the will of God and ditch everything they know in scripture, for an old friend called “comfort.” When that happens, they don’t care how inconvenient it is for them, or how ungodly and irreverent it is to our Heavenly Father; it makes them feel better. Godly love, joy, peace, long-suffering, etc. is VERY scary! Operating in the Fruit of the Spirit will get you hurt by people, but God delights in us. We must choose to please God, at all cost!

The third element mentioned in 2 Timothy 1:7 is power. In the Greek, G1410, it is “dynamis” power. God’s saints are beaten down by the world’s view in so many ways, the accusers being believers and unbelievers, the saints don’t feel worthy to walk and operate in the divine power GOD gives us as His children. The accusers love to say, “Who do you think you are?” I have heard good preaching on “dynamis” power. When I looked it up in the context of scripture, I found elements we as Disciples of Christ need to know, meditate on, and walk in. From the Blue Letter Bible, they are as follows:

1. Strength, power, ability

a. Inherent power, power residing in a thing by virtue of its nature, or which a person or thing exerts and puts forth

b. Power for performing miracles

c. Moral power and excellence of soul

d. The power and influence which belong to riches and wealth

e. Power and resources arising from numbers

f. Power consisting in or resting upon armies, forces, hosts

THIS should get us excited! There is no denying fear as part of our sin nature, the devil’s fruit; but by God’s glorious design, it is to be OVERCOME, hallelujah! We are no longer subject to the law of sin and death. Jesus’ shed blood made atonement for us all! We are AT-ONE-MENT with God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost. We can do ALL things through Christ which strengthens us. (Philippians 4:13) There’s that three-letter word again, “all.”

The sum of it is this: Fear or faith? We can be unstable in all our ways, or we can do all things through Christ. Let us follow Solomon’s advice in Ecclesiastes 12:13, “Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

AT ALL COST!

Sin No More

John 8:11 “Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more…”

“And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, they say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him that they might have to accuse him. But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let hm first cast a stone at her. And again he stooped down, and wrote on the ground. And they which heard it, being convicted by their own conscience, went out one by one, beginning at the eldest, even unto the last: and Jesus was left alone, and the woman standing in the midst. When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee? She said, No man, Lord; and Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” (John 8:3-12)

I tried to condense this account, but found nowhere to start and stop, except where you see above. The poignant phrase, “Go, and sin no more,” is the clincher! As the Holy Spirit kept bringing it to my mind in various ways this week, I was compelled to start typing. Have we as Christians really embraced Jesus’ words? Are there non-Christians reading this today who haven’t accepted Jesus as Lord of their life? Do you find it difficult to understand the simple Gospel of salvation to include, “Go, and sin no more?” As I attempt to answer these questions, it seems to me that they can be done simultaneously.

We all struggle with “issues, baggage or bondages.” When the scriptures tell us in Luke 4:18 that Jesus was “sent to heal the broken-hearted, to preach deliverance to the captive, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, and to preach the acceptable year of the Lord,” we must ACCEPT that as our ticket to freedom, NO QUESTIONS ASKED! We can submit ourselves to God; resist the devil and watch him flee from us. We can draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to us. We have the freedom to cleanse our hands, purify our hearts and stop the double mindedness. (James 4:7-8 THAT is following Jesus so we walk not in darkness!

1 Peter 1:13-16 states: “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the GRACE that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” Jesus told the woman, “Go, and sin no more.”

I cannot write this blog without referencing 1 John 1:5-2:6. John, inspired by the Spirit of God, says it best: “This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and DO NOT the truth (or do not practice the truth): But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us. My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. (That is the practice of sin). And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. And hereby we do know that we KNOW him, if we keep his commandments, He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”

What exactly am I trying to say? Jesus has eliminated all our excuses! We as believers, those who have already accepted Christ as our Savior, have a CHOICE to make. Do we allow the shed blood of Jesus and all he endured on the cross to be in vain? The Bible says, “Whom the Son sets free is free indeed!” I was called to deliverance ministry many years ago. I cast oppressive demons out of Christians. I have had demons cast out of me. I have also been on my face before God, as He himself has delivered me supernaturally, without anyone’s assistance. I have prayed for people from long distances over the phone and God delivers them BY HIS WORD! We do not have to practice sin and blame the devil for it! Satan’s vices, devices and schemes were DISARMED at the cross!

If you are an unbeliever, you have a CHOICE also! Your first step is to recognize that you NEED a Savior, and that Savior is Jesus Christ. Why do we need Jesus? We ALL have sinned. How? The Bible says we were conceived in sin and were born in sin. That should remove all defenses and offenses about your lifestyle, regardless of what it is. Does a “good person” in man’s eye mean he is good in God’s eyes? Not necessarily. We must go by God’s standard set in His Holy Scriptures, and nothing else! Why? Because sin can look good, feel good, and taste good; but it is NOT good!

*How to receive salvation through Jesus Christ: Romans 10:9-10 says if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe with your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved.

If you are being drawn by Him now and desire to accept Jesus as the Lord of your life, say the following prayer out loud and believe the words with all your heart:

Jesus, come into my life. Forgive me of all my sins. I ask You to cleanse my heart, and make me a new person in You right now. I believe that You are the Son of God and that You died on the cross for me. Jesus, I want to thank You for loving me enough to die for me. I accept all that Your shed blood bought for me on the cross, and I receive You as my Lord and Savior today. In Your name I pray, Amen.

If you have just prayed that prayer with all your heart, welcome to the Family of God! All God’s angels are rejoicing and the devil is really upset! Don’t be discouraged when it appears all hell has broken loose in your life from time to time. It happens whether you are a Child of God or not. It is MUCH better now, AS HIS CHILD, that you have eternal hope of being in God’s presence for all eternity, and not separated from Him, in a fiery hell, where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth. God desires that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper, HERE AND NOW! So go for it! Study to show yourselves approved unto God. Read His Word and find out all that He has for you!

II Corinthians 5:17 says, “…old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” In God’s eyes, you have a clean slate, and “His Spirit will give you the desire to obey Him and the power to do what pleases Him.” (Philippians 2:13)

Become a follower of Jesus Christ…”Go, and sin no more.” Your name is now written in God’s Book of Life! Go and find a Bible believing church, in word and deed! Do what Jesus did and say what Jesus said! Do what he taught His disciples to do, and imitate them. Anything more or less than that is man’s ideas, and of no value in the Kingdom of God. Be blessed in your journey with Him. Your life is about to take an exciting turn!

Eternal Vision

“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” (Proverbs 29:18)

What is your vision as a Christian? Are you living the abundant life in Christ Jesus THIS side of Heaven? What do you think about on a daily basis in light of eternity? These three questions run through my mind constantly; as I watch defeated Christians struggle through this life on earth. In a previous post, “A Special Touch,” the Lord impressed upon me how we are ALL sent with a divine purpose, and when we find that purpose, we will be fulfilled, regardless of our lot in life.

1 Corinthians 12:11 states, “But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.” The gifts of the Spirit are given severally as he will, and so is our purpose. What are you called to be? Are you an accountant with an evangelist’s heart? Are you a mother with children God has anointed only you to raise? Are you a pastor with the heart of God to care for his flocks? Might you be called to martyrdom? Have you ever wondered how our precious brothers and sisters in Christ endure the torture inflicted upon them as they LITERALLY lay their lives down and suffer for Jesus’ name sake? You must have God’s vision for your life to be fulfilled. Paul said to the Colossian church: “And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.” (Colossians 4:17)

When I read about the love and the joy the martyrs experience IN Christ as they are being tortured, I am ashamed for all of us here in the United States of America. We have no idea what Revelation 12:11 means as John states, “…and they loved not their lives unto the death.” We are to share in Jesus’ suffering as true disciples, (I call it “sufferology”). Jesus said to a group of people, you haven’t been required to shed blood for me yet. I believe every seminary, every Bible college and every pastor should teach a course in sufferology. When the Holy Spirit illuminated that to me, the revelation changed my life.

We are training for the reigning in this dispensation of grace. Jesus wants us to rule and reign with him. The responsibility we carry as privileged children of God; having access to the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, to walk in power today, is great!

Let us take a look at the second half of Proverbs 29:18. “…but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” What law can we think of that would solve our problems? I found Mark 12:30-31. “And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all they heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.”

I have been grieved, and the Holy Spirit must be grieved, about the defeated mindset in a Christian’s life because they do not hearken unto Jesus’ words, and the Word of God as a rule. In Ephesians 5:15-17, Paul admonishes, “See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise; Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”

Brethren, our eternal vision MUST come from God! I would have given up a long time ago, hopeless and defeated, if I had not simply asked God to show me step by step, what direction I needed to take, how and when. God is not a man that he should lie; “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you,” (Matthew 7:7)

I urge you to desire a prophetic anointing to come upon you; to edify yourself and the Body of Christ. In these last days, it is the spirit of prophecy that will catapult God’s people into their eternal destinies. The victory IS ours, but we must fight nonetheless. When we come back on our white horses with Jesus, we will still be fighting. But know this, we have the ultimate victory, hallelujah!

“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.” (Psalm 42:11)

Father, I pray for whosoever reads this inspired word written through your maid servant tonight. I desire God, that as they seek you in a more earnest way, you meet them where they are; that they would receive answers to fervent, tear soaked prayers Lord. I pray that you will illuminate your word to them tonight Father, and their eyes of understanding are opened. Lord, you are holy! Lord, you are mighty! We exalt you O God this night! Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven, in the lives of your people. May our eternal vision be such that it carries us through great persecution in these last days God; remembering our brothers and sisters before us, and those suffering now God; never forgetting what our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ did at Calvary, so that we could be set free; not only to spend eternity with you, but NOW Lord God, on earth. Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not. In Jesus’ holy name, Amen!

Joy

“The joy you are to have is not from what you see around you, but what eternity with Jesus holds for you”, saith the Lord.

The very first scripture I thought of was Hebrews 11:1, which says: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Glory! We can’t fathom what eternity in Heaven will be like, but our faith is to give us the hope and the joy we need to be that living epistle I wrote about in another post.

If we can live our lives daily, walking in the spirit, striving to be holy, even as he is holy; with the help of the Holy Spirit, we can exhibit the fruit of the spirit, hallelujah! That is, love, JOY, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. However, our joy comes from the Lord, and comes because he first loved us, and died to save us from eternal separation from him.

Our JOY is the great expectation of eternity WITH him. Paul said in Ephesians 1:18, “The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints.”

I don’t know about you, but I just want to shout right now. Our creator God took time to tell us not to go by what we see, feel or hear; but what His Spirit and His Word says. (Is. 11:3)

Brothers and sisters, I pray that your joy is FULL in Christ Jesus today! Full of the expectation of eternity with Him, full of the knowledge that his love is unconditional and unwavering, and full in every area of your life, so that it glistens with that hope of glory to come.

Bread Of Life

John 6:35 “And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.”

“I am the bread of life” – Jesus is saying, I am the very food that gives life; spiritual and eternal life. I sustain and satisfy your spiritual cravings. When we feed ourselves, we are receiving food for our physical bodies. Our flesh craves it. The same can be said for our spirit man craving spiritual food for our souls. How do we know? It is written and repeated multiple times, “That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” (Luke 4:4) In Proverbs 4:20-22, the Lord says, “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart; for they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.” God wishes above all things that we prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper. (3 John 2) He created us; he knows what we need. He’s a good Father! He tells us how to be physically AND spiritually healthy. More good news is found in the next line:

“he that comes to me shall never hunger;” he who moves or travels toward me: It is a spiritual craving Jesus said can only be satisfied by Him, and we will NEVER be found wanting. COME to him! We all know there is nothing this world can offer us that fills and satisfies the driving desires IN us. There is no amount of alcohol, no amount of food, no amount of tobacco or other drug that will make you happy. You can’t gamble enough money away; you can’t have enough sex, or commit enough violence to calm the battle raging on the inside of you. The Bible says, He knew us before He formed us in our mother’s belly. We have to come back to God, through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Jesus said, “He that comes to me shall never hunger.” That is the first step! Then we hear Jesus say:

“and he that believes in Me shall never thirst.” We have to BELIEVE in Him; TRUST in Him with everything that is in us; rely on Him, and cling to His promises written in His Word: The Holy Bible! THAT is what ‘believe’ means! It is not just having head knowledge OF God. It is an ACTION and responsibility for our part in the ‘relationship’. When we do that, our souls will never be thirsty. How do we know? Jesus said just prior to this passage in John 4:14, “But whosoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; because the water that I shall give him shall be in him like a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

That living water is the Holy Spirit of God; who comes to dwell on the inside of us when we accept the good news that Jesus Christ’s life, death, and resurrection has made the way for us to come back into right-standing with God the Father. It is called REDEMPTION! 1 Peter 2:24 states, “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” Turn it any way you want to. We contain LIVING WATER and are healed unto eternal life in Heaven, AND here on earth when we make Jesus Lord and Savior of our lives, hallelujah!

Chambers Of The Soul – A Psalm of Adina

These are places deep inside of us that we cannot enter on our own. The Holy One of Heaven says:

I have the keys. Allow Me, my beloved. Come into the secret place and commune with me there. It is when you become transparent before Me that I am able to start unlocking those chambers, that as yet, are untouched.

It is also in those chambers where the unleashing of all your fears, dreams, hopes and desires can manifest and be used for your good. You must know that only I have the power, the wisdom and the love with which to do it. All of creation cannot exhaust My supply. Ask of Me, my beloved, and you shall surely have it.

I answered:

My Lord and my God; there is nothing I can hide from You. My whole being is naked before You. I am weak and vulnerable, as a newborn babe. Only from the secret place does Your Spirit strengthen me. Let Your Word flow through me day and night like a steady waterfall. Without it, I would dry up as the dust of the earth, and aimlessly blow here or there.

I am lovesick for You, my King. You have ravished my heart beyond words of understanding. I yearn for the heavenly home You have prepared for me. I plead with You to unlock the hidden chambers, so I can come closer. May I have another moment with You in Your courts? THEN, my heart will not faint.

The Lord replied, “You will never be denied”. Selah!

A Visit to Hell

With fear and trembling, I submit this account of a recent visitation to hell. I will call it a dream, though I’m not sure if that’s the right terminology. The message is poignant and biblical. I will include passages at the end for reference.

I was talking to a young man about God, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He rejected all that I was saying and expressed his view of being “good enough” to escape any kind of damnation the Bible talks about.

He died in an instant and I saw everything that followed. I felt like a spectator at a sporting event. I watched as he began to descend very quickly into darkness. He was scared and confused beyond description. He continued to descend, and quickly became hysterically frantic.

He finally reached a place I observed as Satan’s throne room. It was covered with red hot coals that burned continuously. The coals were comprised of what appeared to be human breastbones and chest walls. They were approximately the size of a salad plate. These bones were screaming out in agony and never burned up completely.

Satan opened a book. He began to read out of the book how the young man actually served him by merely refusing to accept Jesus into his heart. Satan laughed at him, mocked him, demoralized and ridiculed him, for the “pathetic” life he led (Satan’s words). His main point was, HE DIDN’T SERVE GOD OR HIM WITH ANY ZEAL!”

Satan’s final point was this: God did not have his soul! At that moment, he ripped the young man’s breastbone out of his chest, and tossed it on top of the others; at which time, the man’s body disintegrated. His soul, through the breastbone, began screaming with the others.

I have grieved over this continuously. We can take each paragraph and point to scripture for the truth in all of it. Satan is only an imitator. He proves it here with his throne room experience and the opening and reading out of a book. We know from scripture that God created it all FIRST!

The great burden here is for the Body of Christ to recognize the passion of Jesus’ heart, and why He came to earth to begin with…To reconcile SOULS to His Father! Let that be our hearts cry, so it moves us to open our mouths and be a true living sacrifice as we witness for the Kingdom of God!

Re-Igniting Christians

When we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, it’s by God’s grace, the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of our sins, repentance and our faith. At this point, the following analogy can be pondered. The pilot light of our souls is lit. We have connected to the source of life from whence we came…God Himself! However, the Bible says He is a consuming fire. (Deuteronomy 4:23-24 & Hebrews 12:28-29)

For that flame to increase throughout our lives, the control knob must be turned up. How does that happen? First, we must get to KNOW Him! Reading the Holy Scripture is the only way to get to know your new best friends; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7). II Timothy 3:16 tells us “ALL scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, and for instruction in righteousness.” He says if we draw close to Him, He will draw close to us (James 4).  The closer we get to Him, the hotter our flame becomes. WE CAN’T HELP IT! It’s His presence, His love and the nuggets of revelation He shares with His creation that turns that knob higher.

Many times we find that our zeal for sharing the Gospel and growing into His likeness reduces back to a small flame. The Lord promises to never leave us, but we often walk away from Him. Examples of this could be, but not limited to, the following: sin we willfully practice, or simply ignoring the importance of depending on Him for EVERYTHING and living our lives void of His friendship. This is called backsliding. I have come to learn that anything we do in life that doesn’t advance us in Christ causes us to go backward.

The following scripture has impacted my Christian walk in a huge way. Jesus says in Luke 22:31-32, “Simon, indeed Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail: and when you are converted, (in other words, when you have returned to Me,) strengthen your brethren.” Wow! Simon Peter, one of the great apostles, had back-slid. In this case, he denied knowing Jesus. Think about the depth of Jesus’ statement. Our faithful Lord is saying “I AM PRAYING FOR YOU!” Jesus, The Son of God, who loved us SO much before we knew or loved Him (John 3:16), volunteered to leave Glory and enter into a sinful world. He demonstrated and taught us the way to be reconciled, or re-connected to, our Heavenly Father; THE SOURCE OF LIFE! For without Him, we can do nothing. He is our very breath.

It all happened at the cross, as he suffered the most agonizing death any human ever has, to pay our debt of sin. They laid Him in a tomb, but couldn’t keep Him there. He went to hell and preached to the captives. He took the keys of hell away from Satan and was raised from the dead on the third day. He walked the earth until God the Father carried Him up to be with Him again in Glory. THIS is the Jesus who is praying for us! He was, and will be, the only human to live without sin in a sinful world. It was the qualification God needed to call Jesus the spotless Lamb and to receive Him as the only acceptable sacrifice (John 1:29). It was a one-time moment in history that will never need to be repeated. I say again…THIS is the Jesus who is praying for US!

So whether you are a sinner reading this, or a brother and sister in the Lord, I know you are being drawn by the precious Holy Spirit right now to return to your Heavenly Father. This is the Good News of Jesus Christ!

The unsaved are looking for Christians whose pilot lights have become a blazing flame for Jesus! Christians are seeking revival; endlessly organizing and hosting meetings, in a desperate attempt to experience a move of the Holy Spirit of God. We find our answers in the Bible. “But if from thence thou shalt SEEK the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with ALL thy heart and with ALL thy soul.” (Deut. 4:29) We need to love Him, obey Him and keep His Word. Deuteronomy 11:1 says it best, “Therefore thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep his charge, and his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.” THIS, my brothers and sisters, will bring revival! A lost and dying, going-to-hell world is waiting for God’s truth and power to manifest among US!

We must always look to the cross and remember the precious blood of Jesus that was shed for the remission of our sins (Matt. 26:28). He set us ALL free from earthly bondages, eternal separation from God, AND He healed all our diseases (Psalm 103:2-4). Our only requirement is to believe this Gospel. In other words, take God at His Word, with childlike faith (Matt. 18:3), accept the complete work of Jesus, and receive His free gifts. Our troubles don’t all disappear, but we have the HOPE, JOY and PEACE of Jesus in our hearts that enable us to face the trials and tribulations of this world, with assurance of our victorious end in Him (Romans 5:2-4).

You may be asking, “How does that blazing flame manifest in Christians to ignite the world?” I close with this conclusion according to Mark 16:15-18: Jesus commanded us to go into the entire world and preach this Gospel. He also said, “These signs shall follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

If our lives reflect Jesus, scripture will come alive and become the “daily norm”; not merely a “daily FORM” of godliness, denying His power (II Timothy 3:5). Jesus said in John 14:12, “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

Christians…it’s time people see the works that Jesus did! I dare you to go deeper into the secret place (Psalm 91:1) like you’ve never done before, and tell your Father you want to fulfill your purpose for which He has sent you. Your life will never be the same.
